Barcelona vs Real Madrid Competition – La Liga Stadium: Spotify Camp Nou Date: 25th October 2026 Kick-off time – 20:00 GMT
Nine league games, nine wins: Barcelona bring a perfect La Liga record into Sunday night’s Clásico at Spotify Camp Nou, and Real Madrid are the side charged with ending it. The leaders have scored 39 goals in those nine matches, more than four a game, and their goal difference of +30 is more than double that of anyone else in the division. They sit six points clear of their visitors before kick-off. Real Madrid arrive third, a point behind Atlético Madrid, having won seven of their nine league games, and their nine goals conceded matches Barcelona’s tally exactly. Both sides played in the Champions League in midweek, though the results went in opposite directions, with Barcelona beaten in Paris on Tuesday and Real Madrid winning at home on Wednesday. Kick-off is at 8pm GMT.
That defeat in Paris was a 4-2 loss to PSG, and it ended a four-match winning run in all competitions. Before it, Barcelona had won 5-2 away at Betis in the league on 17 October, and four days earlier they won 4-1 away at Galatasaray in Europe. Further back in the sample sit a 3-0 home win over Getafe at Spotify Camp Nou and a 3-1 win at Sevilla in September. Across the five, that adds up to four wins and a defeat, 17 goals scored and eight conceded, with at least two goals in every game. Three of the four wins came away from home, and five of the eight goals conceded came in the two Champions League matches. The Getafe game on 10 October was the only clean sheet of the five.
Real Madrid arrive on a four-game winning run. The most recent was a 4-1 home win over RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday, and three days before that they beat Sevilla by the same scoreline at home in the league. Their previous European outing produced a 4-3 win away at AS Roma on 14 October, while the run began with a 1-0 home win over Villarreal. The one defeat in the sample is the oldest of the five, a 2-1 loss away to Atlético Madrid on 20 September. That leaves four wins and a loss, 14 goals scored and seven conceded, with four goals in three of their last four games. At home, they won all three matches in the sample, scoring nine and conceding twice.
Barcelona have had the better of this fixture recently, winning four of the last five meetings to Real Madrid’s one, with no draws. The most recent was a 2-0 Barcelona win at home in the league in May, and the one before that was a 3-2 Barcelona win in the Supercopa de España in January. Real Madrid’s only win in the sample came in last season’s league meeting in October 2025, 2-1 at home. Two of Barcelona’s four wins finished 3-2, including the Copa del Rey meeting in April 2025, which went to extra time. Every one of the five games produced at least two goals.
Barcelona top the table on 27 points, with Real Madrid third on 21, a point behind second-placed Atlético Madrid. A Barcelona win would take them to 30 points and nine clear of Real Madrid, while a Real Madrid win would lift them to 24, above Atlético into second and three behind Barcelona.
