The most recent meeting was a 1-1 draw at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán in February 2026, and before that Alaves won 1-0 at home in the Copa del Rey in December 2025 to go through. Sevilla’s only win came 2-1 away at Alaves in September 2025, and the sides drew 1-1 in Seville in April 2025, so Sevilla have not beaten Alaves at home in the sample. Every one of the five meetings was either decided by a single goal or ended level.

Sevilla sit sixth in La Liga on 17 points, five ahead of 10th-placed Alavés on 12. A Sevilla win would take them to 20 points and up to fifth, above Real Sociedad.
