Brazil vs Haiti

Competition –  2026 World Cup

Stadium: Lincoln Financial Field

Date: 20th June 2026

Kick-off time – 01:30 GMT

Saturday’s early-hours Group C fixture at Lincoln Financial Field sees Brazil take on Haiti, with both sides looking to bounce back from contrasting setbacks in their opening matches. Brazil will start as overwhelming favourites against a Haiti side still searching for their first points of the tournament.

Brazil’s tournament opener ended in a 1-1 draw at home to Morocco on 13th June, a result that left them with work to do after failing to convert their dominance into victory. Prior to that, they beat Egypt 2-1 at home in a pre-tournament friendly. Before that, a commanding 6-2 home win over Panama. Earlier in this run they beat Croatia 3-1 at home, and in their oldest result here they lost 1-2 at home to France. The Seleção possess enormous individual quality across the pitch and will look to assert themselves after a slightly underwhelming start.

Haiti’s World Cup bow brought a 1-0 defeat away to Scotland on 14th June. Prior to that, they lost 1-2 at home to Peru in a warm-up friendly. Before that, a 4-0 home win over New Zealand. Earlier in this run they drew 1-1 at home with Iceland, and in their oldest result here they lost 0-1 at home to Tunisia. Les Grenadiers have shown they can score against weaker opposition but have struggled against more established sides, and this represents arguably the toughest test in the group.

The head-to-head record is overwhelmingly one-sided in Brazil’s favour, who have won all three previous meetings without a single draw or win for Haiti. Most recently, Brazil won 7-1 at home in June 2016. In the previous encounter, Brazil also won, 6-0 away in Port-au-Prince in August 2004.

Brazil sit third on one point after their draw, level with Morocco, while Haiti prop up the group on zero points following their opening defeat. A Brazil win would move them to four points and very likely into a qualifying position, while Haiti desperately need a positive result to keep their tournament alive heading into the final round of fixtures.

In the UK, this match is live on ITV 1 and available to stream via ITVX. In the United States, viewers can watch on FOX Network or fuboTV. Brazilian fans can follow the action on Globo, SporTV or CazéTV, while viewers in Haiti can tune in on Tele Haiti.

Lineups & Injuries

Brazil (4-2-3-1) Becker, Danilo, Marquinhos, Magalhães, Guimarães, Fabinho, Cunha, Thiago, Raphinha, Júnior, Sandro

Haiti (4-4-2) Placide, Lacroix, Delcroix, Jacques, Providence, Adé, Isidor, Bellegarde, Nazon, Arcus, Deedson

Haiti: Leverton Pierre (Out — ruled out of the tournament)

Brazil: No missing players.

Haiti’s injury situation is the more significant of the two, with midfielder Leverton Pierre ruled out of the tournament entirely with a muscle problem, further weakening a midfield already facing a steep step up in quality against Brazil’s front three.
