Nottingham Forest vs Fenerbahce Preview

Nottingham Forest host Fenerbahce at The City Ground on Thursday evening in the second leg of their Europa League knockout tie, carrying a commanding 3-0 advantage from the first leg in Istanbul just seven days ago. Forest need only avoid a catastrophic collapse to progress, while the Turkish giants face the mammoth task of overturning a three-goal deficit on English soil. Despite a disappointing home defeat to Liverpool at the weekend, Forest will fancy their chances of seeing this tie out in front of their own supporters.

Nottingham Forest’s most recent outing ended in a 0-1 home defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday. Prior to that, they delivered that superb 3-0 away win at Fenerbahce in the Europa League first leg.
